About the position

The Chief Enterprise Technology Architect will lead architectural initiatives and drive innovation within the organization, focusing on aligning technology with strategic goals to enhance safety, sustainability, and mobility in transportation solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the technology landscape and requires a visionary leader to oversee the evolution and implementation of a comprehensive enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule team resources, status reporting, and completion of required documentation for team assignments and projects.
• Analyze and develop work or project plans for team assignments.
• Analyze and implement solutions to meet project goals.
• Supervise subordinates and ensure effective team collaboration.
• Lead strategic initiatives and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Develop and implement collaborative standards for technology use.
• Drive research and innovation initiatives within the organization.
• Provide solution architecture support for various projects.
• Enable technology adoption and integration across the organization.
• Manage communication and change management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 12-15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, particularly in government or transportation sectors.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating at all organizational levels.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with cloud technologies, data analytics, and emerging technologies like AI and IoT.
• Knowledge of transportation systems and smart city concepts is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to align technology initiatives with organizational missions and goals.
• Experience in positioning IT as a strategic enabler in large organizations.
