The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of marketing, advertising, and empirical research within the organization. This position requires a strategic leader who can effectively collect and analyze data while collaborating with various agencies at the city, state, local, and federal levels. The CMO will report directly to the Chairman & CEO, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and protocols. In the absence of the Chairman & CEO, the President will provide guidance and direction, while the CMO will also be responsible for reporting to the Executive Vice President to ensure strategic alignment and evaluative assessment of marketing initiatives. The CMO is tasked with guiding the branding efforts of the organization, including the development of a conceptualized marketing vision for signature products. This role involves close collaboration with the Director of Public/Media Relations to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation across various public and media platforms. As a provisional position, the CMO's performance will be evaluated by the Chairman, CEO & Founder, President, and Executive Vice President based on accuracy, experience, and the completeness of assigned tasks. The CMO must possess exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, and be proficient in presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Access. A significant portion of the role will involve engaging with customers and prospective clients, necessitating travel throughout the assigned territory to foster relationships and drive business development. The CMO will develop and implement strategic marketing plans aimed at increasing market share and profitability, while also managing the marketing budget and overseeing the production of promotional materials. This includes working closely with graphic artists, writers, and web developers to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing strategy.
