About the position

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be a pivotal leader responsible for shaping and executing the company's marketing strategy in the DTC healthcare sector. This role is designed for a seasoned marketing executive with expertise in B2B and D2C digital marketing, brand management, and demand generation. The CMO will oversee all marketing functions to drive growth, enhance brand awareness, and solidify the brand's position as a leader in telehealth, focusing on innovation, compassion, and continuous learning to ensure personalized care is accessible and affordable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's vision, goals, and growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence.
  • Elevate and differentiate the brand through compelling strategies and market messages, managing brand positioning and overall marketing strategy.
  • Participate in product development strategies and drive integrated marketing efforts across various media.
  • Design and implement strategies to attract and retain customers, leveraging data-driven insights for customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Manage a substantial marketing budget, ensuring allocation to trackable programs to support the company's revenue plan.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute ongoing strategies, ensuring targets are met while overseeing external agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in DTC marketing leadership roles, focusing on digital marketing, customer acquisition, brand management, and demand generation.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and scaling marketing teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Exceptional ability to develop and implement actionable marketing plans that align with business goals.
  • Advanced proficiency in marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, creative thinker with a history of implementing innovative marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable results and driving growth through data-supported marketing strategies.
