About the position

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Emory Healthcare will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving the marketing strategy across the organization. This role focuses on utilizing data-driven insights to enhance patient engagement, build a strong brand presence, and contribute to the organization's growth. The CMO will lead innovative marketing strategies to foster connections with diverse communities and ensure alignment with Emory's mission of delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all marketing strategies that drive patient acquisition, brand development, and community engagement.
  • Oversee the creation, development, and implementation of integrated marketing and branding programs.
  • Develop a brand strategy that positions EHC as an innovative, high-impact organization.
  • Design and implement marketing campaigns to attract new patients and improve retention.
  • Lead internal culture change to build an innovative institutional culture.
  • Advance the use of technology and data analytics to understand customer needs.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance patient experience.
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to monitor marketing effectiveness.
  • Utilize patient segmentation models for targeted outreach.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of executive level marketing experience in a complex organization.
  • BA in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Direct or indirect leadership of at least 20 marketing professionals.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience developing strategies to collect and analyze data.
  • Expertise in digital marketing and marketing technologies.
  • Experience identifying research to positively increase business.
  • Ability to cultivate strategic partnerships.
