About the position

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Fogo de Chão will lead global marketing and innovation efforts to elevate the brand, enhance customer engagement, and drive revenue growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO will collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to navigate the next phase of growth for the restaurant chain, which is known for its unique dining experience and commitment to community engagement. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry, adept in both traditional and digital marketing, and capable of managing a growing marketing budget projected to increase in line with the company's annual growth rate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking marketing strategy aligned with Fogo de Chão's growth objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, development, and execution of brand marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strengthen brand positioning and ensure a cohesive brand identity across all touchpoints.
  • Enhance customer loyalty programs to increase frequency, check size, and brand advocacy.
  • Manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including social media and content marketing.
  • Drive influencer and celebrity partnerships to enhance marketing reach.
  • Innovate and grow brand platforms to support frequency and margin goals.
  • Develop competitive on-brand pricing programs in partnership with third-party experts.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing and innovation team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling marketing efforts for a fast-growing, multi-location business.
  • Expertise in both digital and traditional marketing channels, with a strong analytical approach.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Franchised experience preferred.
  • Experience building and managing successful brand loyalty programs is a plus.
  • Experience working in a Private Equity-backed business that has successfully scaled revenue and EBITDA is a plus.
