As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at BetMGM, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing sports betting and online gaming in the United States. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute critical marketing strategies that align with the organization's objectives. You will oversee the overall brand strategy for BetMGM, managing all creative direction across various channels, including linear and digital campaigns. This position requires you to manage a substantial marketing budget, which spans hundreds of millions of dollars, and encompasses all marketing channels such as TV, Radio, CTV, digital, and social media. In this role, you will lead the growth of our social media presence across all platforms and build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals, currently exceeding 100 individuals. You will also manage relationships with creative and buying agencies, mentor key marketing team leaders at the Director and VP levels, and negotiate key online and offline advertising contracts to ensure the delivery of set ROI. Your oversight will extend to all marketing campaign ideas, ensuring they align with the company's financial and branding goals. You will support your team in developing and approving key performance indicators (KPIs) for each functional area within the marketing department and create a solid network of strategic partnerships. Collaboration will be essential as you work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in Product, Business Intelligence, Operations, and Compliance to ensure clear accountabilities between teams. Your analytical skills will be crucial in leading media and creative optimization to drive financial results, and you will be expected to demonstrate a track record of brand development, particularly within the gambling industry, sports, media, or large-scale e-commerce environments.
