About the position

Rite-Hite is the global leader in the manufacture, sale, service, and installation of loading dock equipment, vehicle restraints, high-speed doors, high-volume, low-speed fans, and much more, all designed to improve industrial safety, security, productivity, design, environmental control, and energy consumption. Due to extensive growth, Rite-Hite has an opening for a Chief Marketing Officer at our new headquarters in Milwaukee's Fifth Ward. This role is pivotal in leading the Corporate Marketing organization to drive brand awareness, lead generation, cultivation, consideration, retention, and advocacy for Rite-Hite, its employees, capabilities, and offerings across various geographies and targeted industries. The Chief Marketing Officer will define the company's core marketing strategy and share the responsibility to drive growth through company-wide marketing planning, budgeting, and investments to ensure alignment with operating company and sales strategies. This position ensures the development of customer-centric messages about the offerings, brand, and value proposition across market segments and operating companies. The CMO will lead the team responsible for all areas of corporate marketing, including Digital and Marketing Operations, Marketing Communications, Corporate Communications, marketing analytics, and events. Additionally, the CMO will partner with the operating company marketing teams to support Business Development, Product Management, and Market Development. This role also involves leading and developing talent, future leaders, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, customer-centricity, and intelligence-driven marketing to deliver the best results for Rite-Hite.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision to identify areas of growth and development for the function and operating companies.
  • Focus on achieving revenue goals and growth.
  • Deploy digitally enhanced capabilities, creating a personalized customer experience and a more enabled sales force.
  • Hire, develop, and retain highly engaged, flexible, and skilled marketing professionals.
  • Maximize brand awareness and drive consistency of brand image and messaging through leadership of the corporate marketing team.
  • Manage brand identity development and guidelines including visual, practical/experiential, personality/tone, messaging.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound marketing efforts including social media, blogs, multimedia, SEO, advertising, remarketing, and email campaigns.
  • Lead the focus on commercializing offerings and growth initiatives across products and target segments.
  • Plan, organize, and execute various marketing events such as prospect and customer events, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Design and implement corporate communications strategy including leadership and cultural communications, employee-facing communications, employer branding, and community communications.
  • Provide ongoing reporting, develop actionable insights, and adopt a test-and-learn approach to new initiatives.
  • Foster an inclusive and diverse working environment.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business, or a technical discipline is required.
  • Graduate degree in business is a plus.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in Marketing, including at least eight (8) years in a senior-level marketing/communications position.
  • Proven track record of strategy, marketing, and leadership.
  • Experience as a marketing leader in a business with $500M+ in annual revenue, operating in both domestic and international locations is ideal.

Nice-to-haves

  • P&L leadership experience is a plus.
  • Manufacturing and/or distribution background along with multi-unit operations highly desired.
