Responsibilities

  • Direct the hospital's nursing practice and oversee hospital operations to ensure integration with the strategic plan.
  • Develop and deploy nursing policies, objectives, and initiatives for the hospital and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Ensure the provision of quality care and services through cost-effective management of the facilities.
  • Participate in the development of hospital-wide patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Implement effective and ongoing programs to measure, assess, and improve the quality of care/services provided to patients/customers.
  • Drive the delivery of quality and cost-effective patient care and oversee the performance of nursing staff.
  • Build strategic relationships between departments to achieve business goals and resolve issues.
  • Interact with others to build trust and confidence in the organization's intentions.
  • Encourage innovative approaches to problem-solving and facilitate acceptance of change within the workplace.
  • Ensure that patient/customer perspectives drive actions and business decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of nursing experience.
  • Five (5) years of nurse leadership experience.
  • Progressively responsible administrative experience in major healthcare institutions, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g., BSN).
  • Master's degree in nursing or other related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA).
  • Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice.
