About the position

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Cedar Ridge Hospital & Cedar Ridge Behavioral at Bethany is a pivotal leadership role responsible for integrating and coordinating a patient-centric nursing strategy. The CNO will ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective healthcare in alignment with the mission and values of Universal Health Services. This position involves strategic planning and focuses on five key areas: People, Service, Quality, Growth, and Finance, while providing clinical and educational support to nursing teams.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and coordinate a patient-centric nursing strategy.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality and cost-effective healthcare services.
• Participate in the hospital's strategic planning.
• Contribute to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives.
• Focus on key areas: People, Service, Quality, Growth, and Finance.

Requirements

• Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of OK.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a CCNE accredited nursing program; Master of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of behavioral health nursing clinical practices and management.
• Extensive knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Five or more years of progressive nursing management experience.
• Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others' activities with demonstrated leadership abilities.
