About the position

The Chief of Finance is an executive role responsible for managing the financial actions of The Crawlspace Crew. This position involves tracking cash flow, financial planning, and analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses to propose corrective actions. The Chief of Finance will work closely with the executive team to guide the company towards continued success, ensuring efficient investment and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Tracking budget and accounting information.
• Overseeing the taxation affairs of the company.
• Implementing and advising on financial strategies.
• Managing expenses to reduce costs and increase profits.
• Researching market changes and providing timely recommendations.
• Conducting risk management analyses to identify potential financial threats.
• Performing investment appraisals and analyses.
• Overseeing the cash flow of the business and ensuring treasury controls are in place.
• Managing the end-to-end audit process.
• Preparing financial statements and business activity reports.
• Coordinating budget allocations to fund company operations efficiently.
• Overseeing commercial decisions from the viewpoint of margin, tender, and pricing analysis.

Requirements

• Substantial experience and training in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields.
• Formal education or certification in finance and related fields is a plus.
• Expertise in analyzing performance data and trends.
• Strong familiarity with current technology used in sales and marketing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with others.
• Proven leadership ability to inspire success and provide mentorship.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new fields.
