About the position

The Chief of Marketing & Business Development at Pangaea Data is responsible for understanding product and client requirements to develop and enhance the company's business strategy. This role involves leading partnership efforts and creating a clear impact and success plan to increase customer engagement and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an impact and success plan based on market research to align company strategy with customer needs.
  • Provide a roadmap with defined success metrics and milestones for scaling the customer base and revenues.
  • Develop and lead a partnership action plan for generating new leads.
  • Ensure ongoing project management reflects the company's vision and goals, facilitating clear communication between leadership and teams.
  • Facilitate global market access strategies to reach stakeholders in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Plan and implement effective marketing campaigns to boost customer base and product sales.
  • Track established metrics to scale customer engagement and enhance revenue generation.
  • Implement systems for measuring the impact of commercial and marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Achieved measurable success in revenue recognition and growth at start-ups in healthcare and life sciences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Health Sciences, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, success planning, impact measurement, and project management in healthcare or healthtech.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare market, including market access and commercial strategy.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with AI technologies in healthcare and life sciences.
  • Experience with CRMs, preferably HubSpot.
