About The Position
The Chief of Police at Oklahoma State University (OSU) serves as the senior law enforcement officer responsible for overseeing campus safety and security across OSU Stillwater, OSU Tulsa, and the Emergency Operation Center. This role involves providing strategic leadership and coordination of the Campus Police Department to ensure the safety and well-being of the university community. The Chief of Police is expected to respond to critical and emergency situations on a 24/7 basis, requiring additional hours beyond the standard work schedule, including weekends and evenings during special events.
