About the position

Oracle is seeking a Chief of Staff for the Senior Vice President (SVP) of AI Infrastructure within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This pivotal leadership role is designed to help steer the strategic direction and execution of the organization as it builds the next generation of AI Infrastructure to support the AI revolution. The AI Superclusters developed by Oracle are at the forefront of innovation, powering some of the most advanced AI companies globally, and the organization is in a phase of significant growth. The Chief of Staff will play a crucial role in coordinating and driving the execution of the organization’s strategy, working closely with various teams including engineers, Product and Program Managers, and Operations professionals. In this role, the Chief of Staff will be responsible for communicating product strategy and functionality across the organization and with external partners. Staying informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices is essential to ensure compliance and foster innovation within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of AI, hardware, and cloud architecture, along with experience in leading large organizations and collaborating with senior executives. The Chief of Staff will also be tasked with establishing and nurturing relationships with customers and partners, driving executive engagements, and providing valuable insights and recommendations to the SVP. This role requires an inspiring leader who can effectively set goals and expectations for performance, working with employees to establish specific, measurable objectives. Regular updates and interactions with executive management will be necessary to influence the portfolio and ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate product strategy and functionality across the group and our partners.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry standard methodologies, ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the organization.
  • Act as an inspiring leader and trusted advisor to the SVP of AI infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and drive the organization strategy execution working closely with several teams of engineers, Product and Program Managers and Operations professionals.
  • Collaborate with key partners, including customers, industry authorities, and internal teams, to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, shaping the product roadmap and strategy accordingly.
  • Work with executive leadership to develop and implement robust AI Infrastructure Strategy and Communication plans.
  • Establish relationships with customers and partners and drive executive engagements.
  • Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Provide regular updates and interact with executive management to influence the portfolio.
  • Set goals and expectations for performance and work with employees to establish specific, measurable goals and commitments.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of AI, hardware, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience leading large organizations and working with Senior Executives.
  • Strong communication skills to convey product strategy and functionality effectively.
  • Ability to coordinate and drive organizational strategy execution across multiple teams.
  • Experience in collaborating with customers, industry authorities, and internal teams to shape product strategy.
  • Leadership skills to inspire and drive organizational culture.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the IT industry, particularly in cloud solutions.
