This position involves managing the CEO's internal and external communications, participating in executive strategy meetings, and overseeing various projects. The role is structured as a two-year commitment, with the opportunity to transition into a more senior position after one year, ultimately leading to support in launching the individual's next career opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the CEO's internal and external tasks and communications.
• Attend executive team strategy meetings and take notes.
• Assist team members in preparing presentations for the CEO.
• Create presentations for the CEO to use at meetings.
• Write remarks for the CEO for large events.
• Draft responses to press inquiries for the CEO.
• Organize company meetings or executive offsites.
• Travel overnight to other cities for meetings.
• Take on special projects and hand them off to other teams.
• Host VIP tours with Fortune 100 CEOs and elected officials.
• Interview potential employees.
• Attend meetings on behalf of the CEO.
• Conduct daily standup meetings with the CEO.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience with Google Suite.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Resourceful and problem-solving mindset.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in-person during business hours and be available 24/7 by phone.
• Willingness to work late nights and weekends as needed.
• Commitment to stay in Austin for two years.
