About the position

The Chief of Staff for Digital Solutions at S&P Global plays a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Vice President, Chief Digital Solutions Officer (CDSO) by enhancing the effectiveness of the Digital Solutions team. This position involves managing strategic initiatives, coordinating leadership operations, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the technology sector of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage initiatives in support of the Digital Solutions strategy to protect the brand and enable business-focused capabilities.
  • Coordinate and manage the Digital Solutions Leadership team's operations, including organizing monthly leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions.
  • Establish and track KPIs related to technology initiatives to ensure programs deliver value.
  • Drive follow-up on strategic priorities across technology leadership and stakeholders, ensuring timely execution of action items.
  • Develop key communications collateral, storyboards, and presentations for updates to stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
  • Foster a culture of engineering and delivery excellence, customer-first mindset, and continuous learning and innovation.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder for overall technology communications, supporting messaging from the Chief Digital Solutions Officer.
  • Lead departmental employee engagement initiatives, collaborating with leadership and the People team to create a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in technology services across multiple channels, with experience in strategic activities and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Successful track record working in a global environment, with the ability to create constructive relationships and communicate across various organizational teams.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with proven experience in prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships by networking with colleagues and leading through influence.

Nice-to-haves

  • 10+ years previous experience in a large global organization supporting technology teams.
  • Master of Business Administration.
  • Ability to collaborate across business units to implement technology strategy while managing technology risk and governance.
