About the position

The Chief of Staff for Digital Solutions at S&P Global plays a pivotal role in supporting the enterprise technology strategy and enhancing the effectiveness of the Digital Solutions team. This position involves close collaboration with the Executive Vice President and serves as a liaison across the technology leadership team, ensuring alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage initiatives in support of the Digital Solutions strategy to protect the brand and enable business-focused capabilities.
  • Coordinate and manage the Digital Solutions Leadership team's operations, including organizing monthly leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions.
  • Establish and track KPIs related to technology initiatives to ensure programs deliver value.
  • Drive follow-up on strategic priorities across technology leadership and stakeholders, ensuring timely execution of action items.
  • Develop key communications collateral, storyboards, and presentations for updates to stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
  • Foster a culture of engineering excellence, customer-first mindset, and continuous learning and innovation.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder for overall technology communications, supporting messaging from the Chief Digital Solutions Officer.
  • Lead departmental employee engagement initiatives, such as the VIBE program and recognition initiatives.
  • Collaborate with DS Leadership, the People team, and Engagement Champions to create a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in technology services across multiple channels.
  • Experience in strategic activities and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Successful track record working in a global environment, with the ability to create constructive relationships.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with experience in prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships by networking with colleagues and leading through influence.

Nice-to-haves

  • 10+ years previous experience in a large global organization supporting technology teams.
  • Master of Business Administration.
  • Ability to collaborate across business units to implement technology strategy while managing technology risk and governance.
