About the position

The Chief of Staff (Digital Transformation) is a pivotal role focused on leading and managing large-scale digital transformation initiatives within the hospitality and entertainment industry. This position requires a seasoned Technical Program Manager who will oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of IT projects that enhance digital infrastructure and business processes. The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, project scoping, and the implementation of innovative technical solutions, making a significant impact on the organization’s digital landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the successful execution of large-scale digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migrations, UX improvements, content management system (CMS) implementation, and AI-driven platforms.
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and project scoping to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Plan and execute project roadmaps for complex technical initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, product owners, and subject matter experts to ensure seamless execution of technical projects.
  • Drive improvements in content management, accessibility, and search performance across internal platforms, intranets, and external systems.
  • Facilitate the migration of legacy content systems to modern cloud-based CMS and search platforms.
  • Design and implement UX and information architecture improvements to enhance usability, accessibility, and employee productivity.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including project plans, technical requirements, epics, user stories, and test plans.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to ensure effective adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, providing regular status updates and executive communications.
  • Champion accessibility, including conducting audits and ensuring compliance with ADA and other relevant guidelines.
  • Lead organizational change management (OCM) efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in for new digital tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager, IT Project Manager, or UX Project Manager, with a focus on digital transformation, cloud migrations, and enterprise-level CMS implementations.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CMS platforms.
  • Expertise in managing large-scale cloud migrations and digital infrastructure projects (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
  • Deep understanding of UX design principles, information architecture, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience working with AI/ML technologies is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills using Agile methodologies, with experience in tools like Jira, Confluence, and Asana.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring that technical solutions meet business needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and challenges.
  • Experience with organizational change management (OCM), training, and user adoption strategies.

  • Master Certification in Enterprise Content Management (CMS) is a plus.
