About the position

The Chief of Staff (COS) at the Entrepreneurial College plays a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and overseeing major initiatives that align the college's resources with industry needs. This position is essential for driving workforce development and enhancing collaboration across departments, ensuring that the college remains a leader in education and community engagement. The COS will manage high-level projects, facilitate strategic planning, and serve as a key liaison to stakeholders, contributing to the long-term success of the college.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee major initiatives and manage high-level projects in collaboration with the CEO.
  • Drive cross-disciplinary collaboration across all departments to enhance workforce development.
  • Serve as a key liaison to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and partnership.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the Entrepreneurial College's strategic plan.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant regulations and grant requirements, ensuring high satisfaction from employers and community partners.
  • Facilitate regular collaboration meetings between the CEO and Executive Directors to optimize program offerings and employer partnerships.
  • Assist the CEO in prioritizing their schedule and managing executive functions.

Requirements

  • Master's degree AND two (2) years of Workforce Development, Career & Technical Education experience, AND two (2) years of related organizational support and/or leadership experience or equivalent, AND one (1) year of supervisory management experience
  • OR Bachelor's degree AND four (4) years of Workforce Development, Career & Technical Education experience, AND three (3) years of related organizational support and/or leadership experience or equivalent, AND two (2) years of supervisory management experience
  • OR Associate's degree AND six (6) years of Workforce Development, Career & Technical Education experience, AND four (4) years of related organizational support and/or leadership experience or equivalent, AND three (3) years of supervisory management experience
  • OR High School Diploma or equivalent AND eight (8) years of Workforce Development, Career & Technical Education experience, AND five (5) years of related organizational support and/or leadership experience or equivalent, AND four (4) years of supervisory management experience
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License or Equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in grant writing and budget preparation.
  • Familiarity with educational policies and procedures.
  • Strong networking skills within the education and workforce development sectors.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $95,233 - 100,947 per year, depending on experience.
