About the position

The Chief of Staff/Executive Assistant to the CEO at SBT Industries is a pivotal role designed to enhance operational efficiency and support the CEO in executing strategic initiatives. This position acts as a vital link between the executive team and the broader organization, ensuring effective communication with vendors and customers while managing the CEO's priorities and special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the CEO's calendar, organize meetings, and handle travel arrangements to ensure focus on high-priority tasks.
  • Provide comprehensive support on special projects, including report preparation and key initiatives.
  • Lead critical projects by creating plans, allocating resources, and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Monitor team deliverables and drive documentation to maintain project progress.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors, representing the company at industry events.
  • Assist with accounting and HR functions, including accounts receivable/accounts payable, budget management, hiring, and benefits administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally quarterly as needed
  • Mandarin speaking is a plus
  • Tech/startup experience highly preferred
