About the position

The Chief of Staff at FrameWorks Institute will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to implement organization-wide initiatives that enhance cross-departmental integration, improve internal functioning, and foster a strong organizational culture rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion. This role involves managing key leadership processes and projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, and maintaining a supportive environment for staff.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought partner and strategic advisor to the CEO and Senior Management Team regarding strategy implementation and organizational culture.
  • Support the creation and implementation of strategic priorities, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary.
  • Assist in managing the CEO's time to advance internal priorities and ensure effective high-level decision-making.
  • Co-create agendas for Senior Management Team, Management Team, and Staff Meetings to ensure productivity and clarity in decision-making.
  • Develop systems for strong internal communications to keep teams informed and engaged.
  • Support the CEO in planning for stakeholder engagement, including the Board of Directors.

Requirements

  • 15 years of combined education and experience in nonprofit management, board management, organization development, and communications.
  • Experience working in the nonprofit sector with a solid understanding of organizations in the social change space.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate principles of equity, justice, and inclusion into daily work.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex interpersonal relationships and promote positive staff morale.

Benefits
