About the position

As the Chief of Staff for AXA XL's Global Chief Claims Officer and General Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in executing the Global Claims and Legal and Compliance strategies. This position involves driving operational planning, ensuring priorities are met, and establishing effective communication strategies across the organization. You will collaborate closely with various teams, manage key stakeholder relationships, and address complex problems proactively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and sponsor execution on key operational and strategic initiatives.
• Responsible for the delivery of key strategic priorities and objectives for Global Claims and L&C.
• Engage, influence, align, and partner with stakeholders to support and achieve objectives across global and regional claim teams.
• Proactively identify and solve complex problems impacting Global Claims and L&C management.
• Ensure outputs/deliverables or escalation points are understood and resolved within the teams.
• Coordinate and deliver key inputs into wider organizational processes, such as annual Operational Planning.
• Own the internal Global Claims and L&C Communications strategy, ensuring efficient information flow.
• Plan and coordinate key Global and Overall L&C and Claims meetings.
• Act as the key point of contact for AXA XL Business Units and functions regarding Global Claims and L&C matters.
• Define project plans and budgets, focusing on continuous improvement and analytical culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred with extensive knowledge and experience in global insurance.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to execute strategic initiatives.
• Ability to create and maintain a network of partnerships with stakeholders.
• Experience partnering at the executive level and managing change effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Outstanding finance and analytical skills with numerical aptitude.
