About the position

The Chief of Staff (CoS) for the Global Revenue Operations (GRO) team at Autodesk will act as a strategic advisor to the VP of GRO and the senior leadership team. This role focuses on driving special projects, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring organizational alignment. The CoS will facilitate the execution of critical priorities, manage the annual strategic planning process, and foster a culture of continuous performance improvement within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual strategic planning process for the GRO leadership team and facilitate the execution, communication, and review of these plans.
  • Lead special projects and programs that span GRO/COO and require cross-company collaboration.
  • Act as an advisor to the GRO senior leadership team and VP on strategy, execution, operations, and culture.
  • Distill and synthesize strategic discussions into executable plans and enable discussions connecting strategic ideas.
  • Serve as an advisor/coach for leadership staff, incorporating continuous development curriculum into team cadence.
  • Partner to solve problems, identify root causes, and help leaders overcome roadblocks on business-critical projects.
  • Design and orchestrate the business cadence of the leadership team through facilitation of various meetings and workshops.

Requirements

  • MBA and/or graduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in Strategy, Consulting, or Communications.
  • Outstanding facilitation skills, strong business acumen, critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to steer staff towards decisions; excellent relationship building, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Resourceful, flexible, and adaptable with a proven track record of ensuring accountability and results.
  • Experience with technical concepts, product management, and influencing technical leaders.
  • Experience driving global and complex business transformations.
  • Experience developing and executing communications strategies, plans, programs, and events.
  • Able to work collaboratively across multiple functions including Engineering, Communications, Finance, Legal, and HR.
