About the position

The Chief of Staff (COS) for the VP of IDG Commercial Segment Strategy and Operations is a strategic role that enhances the VP's effectiveness in managing internal and external stakeholders. This position requires a professional demeanor, excellent communication, and organizational skills, focusing on a wide range of tasks and strategic initiatives. The COS will act as a trusted counsel, requiring strong emotional intelligence and analytical skills, and will be involved in business transformation initiatives and operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Build/run the Operations & Strategy BMS to track business activities and results.
  • Facilitate and manage the process of identifying, prioritizing, chartering, and managing key strategic projects.
  • Act as a change agent for business transformation initiatives and tools to optimize business execution.
  • Conduct market and financial analysis to support projects and business initiatives.
  • Track key strategic actions and drive them to closure.
  • Organize day-to-day activities with the VP, including tracking business progress and preparing presentations.
  • Govern the strategic planning processes for Commercial, communicating key milestones and consolidating information.
  • Drive Commercial Strategy & Operations elements, including agenda topics for meetings and team gatherings.
  • Support the VP with ad-hoc projects and key strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience working in the technology industry.
  • 5+ years in leadership or project leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $220,000-$250,000.
