About the position

The Chief of Staff for the IDG Commercial Segment Strategy & Operations at Lenovo plays a pivotal role in supporting the VP by managing strategic initiatives and facilitating communication with stakeholders. This position is not administrative but rather strategic, requiring a blend of focus, flexibility, and operational involvement. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for overseeing key projects, conducting market analysis, and ensuring effective execution of business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build/run the Operations & Strategy BMS to keep a pulse on the business and track activities and results.
  • Facilitate and manage the process of identifying, prioritizing, chartering, communicating, and managing key strategic projects.
  • Act as a change agent for business transformation initiatives and tools that further optimize our end-to-end business execution and performance.
  • Conduct market and financial analysis as needed to support projects and business initiatives.
  • Track key strategic actions and drive them to closure.
  • Organize day to day activities with the VP, including tracking business progress towards targets, follow-up on key initiatives, and preparing presentations for various audiences.
  • Govern the strategic planning processes for Commercial, working cross-functionally to communicate the process and consolidate information.
  • Drive Commercial Strategy & Operations elements, including agenda topics for team meetings and culture-building initiatives across the organization.
  • Support the VP with ad-hoc projects and key strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience working in the technology industry
  • 5+ years in leadership or project leadership roles
  • Bachelor's degree

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $220,000-$250,000
