About the position

The Chief of Staff (Marketing & Strategy) at Allianz Life plays a pivotal role in overseeing and driving projects and strategic initiatives within the Marketing & Strategy division. This position partners closely with the Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer (CMSO) to develop and implement strategies aligned with the company's growth ambitions, while also managing day-to-day operations and ensuring effective execution of key priorities. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to navigate complex environments, and a focus on innovation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chief of Staff to the Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer (CMSO).
• Oversee, direct, and drive projects and initiatives across Marketing & Strategy.
• Partner with CMSO on the development and implementation of division strategy and OKRs.
• Provide trusted insight and counsel on routine and complex matters.
• Manage assigned projects and day-to-day functionality of running the business.
• Identify risks and opportunities, recommending actions using sound judgment.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Lead organization and coordination of important meetings and events.
• Develop tailored reports, presentations, and communications for various audiences.
• Manage alignment among MSLG and across business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Financial Services or related field required.
• Proven ability to flex between strategic thinking and tactical implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to drive tangible outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design models and processes.
• Ability to effectively consult with and influence every level of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
