About the position

The Chief of Staff for Production Management & Platform at Autodesk will support the Vice President of PM&P within the Entertainment and Media Solutions Group. This role is designed for a strategic and collaborative leader who will ensure the PM&P team operates efficiently and effectively, managing product strategy and execution for Autodesk Flow and related products. The Chief of Staff will play a crucial role in defining the team's operating model, facilitating leadership meetings, and driving engagement and clarity within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the PM&P operating model to ensure the right structure and governance as the team grows.
  • Run leadership meetings, facilitating discussions and identifying action items.
  • Manage process and product workstreams, presenting strategic plans and roadmaps.
  • Summarize strategic discussions into executable plans, connecting strategic ideas.
  • Act as an advisor to the VP and leadership team on strategy and operations.
  • Develop team charter/mission and track priorities to surface issues early.
  • Ensure measurable goals for PM&P programs align with overall objectives.
  • Partner with the PM&P leadership team to foster understanding with other groups.
  • Develop internal and external communications plans for the PM&P team.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives for the team.
  • Attend meetings on behalf of the VP, providing direction and addressing inquiries.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a high-tech business environment.
  • 10+ years of experience in product operations, program management, management consulting, or similar functions.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, scrum).
  • Experience working in product operations, product management, or engineering roles.
  • Proven track record of executing complex projects seamlessly.
  • Outstanding facilitation and presentation skills, proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong influence and communication skills.
  • Good judgment, business sense, and organizational savvy.
  • Analytical, strategic, and intuitive thinking abilities.
  • Experience in steering teams towards decision-making and ensuring accountability.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's or MS degree.
