About the position

The Chief of Staff for Project Taara plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager and leadership team by facilitating communication, driving alignment, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives. This position requires a strong ability to manage cross-functional projects, anticipate challenges, and provide strategic advice to enhance organizational effectiveness and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager and leadership team, amplifying their influence and supporting strategic decisions.
  • Help formulate and operationalize Project Taara's goals and objectives.
  • Anticipate and pre-solve problems before they arise, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Advise on sensitive issues requiring diplomacy and situational awareness.
  • Keep various work streams on track towards achieving short and long-term objectives.
  • Assist with prioritization, delegation, and hand-off of tasks among team members.
  • Drive alignment across the organization to meet business, operational, and cultural objectives.
  • Utilize cross-functional knowledge to understand and address issues and trends affecting the business.
  • Proactively identify organizational problems and create programs or processes to resolve them.
  • Optimize communication between the leadership team and the broader organization.
  • Integrate and connect siloed work streams to enhance collaboration.
  • Ensure effective information flow for decision-making and proper documentation of decisions.
  • Oversee the Administrative Business Partner, ensuring alignment with leadership priorities and seamless coverage.
  • Manage other functional G&A areas, including outsourced services like Legal, HR, and Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role or in Management Consulting, Strategy, Operations, or Program Management.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and build strong partnerships independently.
  • Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented work style, demonstrating sound judgment and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for all organizational levels, including executive audiences.
  • Ability to navigate a high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in business or a related field.
  • Experience in hardware development and/or the telecommunications industry.
