About the position

The Chief of Staff for Project Taara plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager and the leadership team by facilitating communication, driving alignment, and ensuring that organizational goals are met. This position requires a strategic partner who can navigate complex organizational dynamics, manage multiple priorities, and provide insights that guide decision-making. The role is focused on operationalizing goals, solving problems proactively, and optimizing workflows across various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager and leadership team.
  • Help formulate and operationalize Project Taara's goals and objectives.
  • Anticipate and pre-solve problems before they arise.
  • Advise on issues requiring diplomacy and situational sensitivity.
  • Keep various work streams on track towards short and long-term objectives.
  • Assist with hand-off, delegation, or prioritization of tasks.
  • Drive alignment across the organization to meet business and cultural objectives.
  • Identify problems and create programs or processes to solve them.
  • Optimize communications linking the leadership team and the broader organization.
  • Ensure effective information flow for decision making and documentation.
  • Oversee the Administrative Business Partner and ensure coverage is seamless.
  • Manage other functional G&A areas, many of which will be outsourced.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role or in Management Consulting, Strategy, Operations, or Program Management.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and build strong partnerships independently.
  • Strong project/program management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented work style and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive clarity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in business or a related field.
  • Experience with hardware development and/or telecommunications industry.
