About the position

The Chief of Staff at Availity plays a crucial role in driving executive priorities and achieving business results. This position is responsible for organizing, prioritizing, and communicating strategic plans, while also coordinating executive leadership operations and initiatives that have enterprise-wide impact. The Chief of Staff will work closely with the CEO and other executives to enhance the effectiveness of the leadership team and ensure alignment with corporate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to the CEO for key initiatives, priorities, and responsibilities.
  • Lead key strategic initiatives and work streams in support of Availity's strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer on annual and long-term strategy planning.
  • Ensure the Executive Leadership Team and Department Heads track completion of Corporate and Departmental goals.
  • Support the CEO, COO, and Board in developing and executing Board agendas and meeting preparations.
  • Facilitate executive discussions and distill them into actionable next steps and accountabilities.
  • Continuously improve executive team meeting operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategy development, operational improvement, and project management.
  • Leadership experience with direct team management.
  • Consulting experience preferred.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and consultative skills.
  • Ability to distill complex topics into key messages for various stakeholders.
  • Intellectual curiosity to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Solid systems thinking and risk assessment abilities.
  • Demonstrated results orientation with perseverance and resilience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven track record in working with C-level Executives.
