About the position

The Chief of Staff, Sales at Xometry Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and the Sales Leadership Team. This position is designed for a strategic thinker with operational expertise and strong communication skills, aimed at ensuring the Sales organization meets its objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the proxy and executor for the CSO, representing their interests and making decisions on their behalf as needed.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CSO, providing insights and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee key sales initiatives and projects, ensuring their timely and successful execution.
  • Identify and address roadblocks to optimize sales processes.
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively develop solutions, managing crisis situations with a calm demeanor.
  • Identify and develop potential successors for key sales roles, ensuring continuity within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in a sales or sales operations role.
  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience developing teams of varying experience levels, particularly those with recent college graduates.
  • A strong understanding of operational rigor and best practices.
  • Discretion and a high degree of professionalism.
