As the Chief of Staff for Strategic Advisory & Lifecycle Resiliency Services (SALRS) at Black & Veatch, you will serve as a key executive advisor to the President of SALRS. You will need to anticipate challenges that require immediate attention and diplomacy, providing leadership that enhances time management and the flow of information to and from the SALRS President. Your role will also involve preparing the President for meetings and ensuring they are rarely surprised by developments. Key responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing opportunities for continuous improvement based on industry best practices, providing strategic inputs into the SALRS organization, and executing initiatives tied to SALRS growth strategies. You will lead innovation workshops, drive critical growth campaigns, and support team culture development efforts. Additionally, you may serve as a proxy for the SALRS President in various meetings, oversee communications, and support the President in synthesizing insights and generating actionable outcomes. You will also engage with HR to provide solutions related to workforce and organizational matters, ensuring consistent communication and involvement in decision-making processes. This role requires a proactive approach to workforce needs, developing forward-thinking solutions, and interpreting workforce analytics to create compelling messages for leadership. You will collaborate with the SALRS Leadership Team and HR to align professional development opportunities for emerging leaders, ensuring that the team is prepared for growth opportunities. You will also coordinate with IT efforts to support the business and ensure compliance with company policies and training requirements.
