About the position

The Chief of Staff to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) at Payoneer is a senior leadership role focused on driving the strategic agenda of the legal and regulatory organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in legal and regulatory matters, capable of navigating complex organizational dynamics and influencing results through collaboration. The role encompasses project management, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with business objectives and effective execution of legal initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to the CLO, helping to define, prioritize, and operationalize the legal and regulatory strategy.
• Provide consulting expertise to legal, regulatory, and business leaders, leveraging insights and data to inform decision-making.
• Oversee the operational rhythm of the legal and regulatory functions, managing the department's calendar and strategic planning processes.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across the legal and regulatory leadership team, preparing briefing materials and reports for key meetings.
• Handle day-to-day tactical work, managing key legal and regulatory projects and supporting the legal team with complex problem-solving.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to drive legal and regulatory initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal or regulatory roles with success in senior leadership positions.
• Proven track record of partnering with senior executives and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution in a dynamic environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Experience in corporate governance, compliance, risk management, and contract negotiation.
