About the position

BKV Corporation is seeking a dynamic Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Chief Technical Resources Officer (CTRO). This pivotal role involves providing direct support to the CTRO in executing the company's vision, mission, and strategic objectives. The CoS will collaborate with key executives and management to ensure alignment across strategic initiatives, manage relationships with stakeholders, and oversee reporting activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and proven leadership in project management to facilitate collaboration and drive high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support Board & Committee meetings, ensuring high-quality deliverables are reviewed and delivered on time.
  • Support executive meetings and presentations by structuring impactful presentations and tracking action items.
  • Provide in-depth support for Business as Usual (BAU), Technical Resources Organization (TRO), and strategic projects, ensuring clarity and guidance.
  • Manage key stakeholders and third-party consultants to ensure high-performance results.
  • Develop tools to prioritize and track progress of BAU, TRO, and strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Conduct targeted analyses on market trends and technologies to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the CTRO's calendar and optimize scheduling efficiency.
  • Draft communications for the Technical Resources Organization as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SQL and Power BI are a plus.
  • Proven leadership with a successful track record in building effective relationships at executive and organizational levels.
  • Agile strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize multiple goals and deadlines.
  • Understanding of natural gas industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
