About the position

The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides confidential and strategic support to the CEO, facilitating communication and project management within the Executive Office. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing the office budget, and serving as a liaison with various stakeholders to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential and trusted organizational and strategic support to the CEO.
  • Serve as a liaison with staff, executives, senior leaders, and the CEO regarding project updates and proposals.
  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through execution under senior leadership guidance.
  • Assist executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Attend meetings and represent the CEO in his/her absence, ensuring preparation of materials.
  • Oversee daily operations in collaboration with senior managers and department leaders.
  • Manage calendars, correspondence, and maintain files for the Executive Office.
  • Develop relationships with employees to enhance operational efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Monitor various issues, projects, and programs on behalf of the Executive Office.
  • Prepare and monitor the budget for the Executive Office.

Requirements

  • Seven years of progressively responsible experience in a business management or executive role.
  • Ability to perform complex analyses of data and information, make recommendations, and prepare reports.
  • Knowledge of supervisory principles and ability to manage operations and programs.
  • Expertise in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Expertise in data analysis and budget management.
  • Knowledge of contracts and operating permits related to Airports Authority guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills, with an emphasis on negotiation and presentation.
  • Proficiency in computer hardware and modern office suite software, especially spreadsheet software.

Nice-to-haves

  • A master's degree in Personnel Administration, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in an airport, airline, or in airline support operations.
