About the position

The Chief of Staff at Leidos will support the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) in executing strategic operational initiatives across the Growth Office. This role involves leading projects, collaborating with business leaders, and ensuring effective business operations through strong partnerships. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for tracking KPIs, managing communications, and overseeing strategic initiatives, while also acting as a primary contact for cross-organizational projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Growth Officer's design and implementation of overall business strategy and day-to-day operations.
  • Track Growth Office KPIs and financials in support of the CGO.
  • Execute and provide guidance on all Growth Office rhythms (e.g. MOR, QBR, 5-15, etc.) and data calls.
  • Lead Growth Office Offsite meetings and support Corporate ALLS events.
  • Develop presentations for the CGO and Growth Office for various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Internal Comms manager on CGO communications.
  • Partner with Growth Office CFO to manage CHO and NBF accounts and oversee activities.
  • Provide decision support through data gathering and information analysis.
  • Oversee strategic initiatives from development through execution under the guidance of the CGO.
  • Aid the Chief Growth Officer in identifying and assessing scenarios for problem resolution.
  • Prepare materials for internal and external events, key customer meetings, and conferences.
  • Develop project plans and deliverables that meet identified requirements.
  • Ensure assigned individuals execute all phases of tasks from the Chief Growth Officer and provide tracking and reporting.
  • Develop relationships with executive-level and senior management to keep them informed of corporate planning.
  • Execute and support other operational projects as assigned by the Chief Growth Officer.
  • Act as a representative for the Chief Growth Officer as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university required.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience and leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management.
  • Strong diplomatic, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven problem solver who can make decisions under time pressure.
  • Robust experience in Microsoft suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong financial acumen, understanding of Gross Awards, Backlog, Factoring, and Book-to-Bill.
  • Working knowledge of WinIt tool and functionality is a plus.
  • Prior experience in Business Development and understanding of Leidos Win Plan is a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $144,300.00 - $260,850.00 based on experience and qualifications.
