As the Chief of Staff-Vice President on the Commerce Enablement Team, you will serve as a vital link between executives and everyday operations, orchestrating various elements of the organization to create a cohesive whole. This role is pivotal in driving daily initiatives, management, and execution within the organization. You will act as a liaison with staff, assist in decision-making processes, manage cross-functional programs, and promote key initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with superior judgment, follow-through, and executive presence, thriving in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment while working with a diverse range of internal stakeholders. In this position, you will develop and independently own project workstreams within the Commerce Enablement Data & Analytics Organization from inception to completion. You will apply structured problem-solving skills to address top strategic priorities and lead working groups, problem-solving, and brainstorming sessions that prepare analyses to support leadership decision-making. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation will be crucial, as you will drive the implementation of process changes across the organization. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with team members across Lines of Business (LOBs), central teams, and corporate functions, particularly with Product and Technology teams on the prioritization of deliverables. You will prepare executive communication materials for senior management and present project analyses and recommendations to senior executives. Additionally, you will develop and operationalize key metrics to measure the current state, define what success looks like in the future, and enable strategic solutions and execution. Your ability to drive day-to-day problem-solving will facilitate recommendations and push the team's agenda forward. Utilizing your organization and planning expertise, you will prioritize tasks, navigate organizational complexities, and resolve challenges without burdening the executive leader. Understanding the leader's intent and taking initiative to act, even in the absence of specific instructions, will be essential to your success in this role.
