About the position

The Chief of Staff at Trackonomy plays a pivotal role in providing strategic and administrative support to the Senior Director of Innovation Service & Support. This position is designed for a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering complex projects on time. The Chief of Staff will be instrumental in shaping the company's success by collaborating with senior leadership, managing diverse projects, and enhancing communication across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential administrative and strategic support to the Sr Director Innovation Service & Support.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the content of weekly team meetings.
  • Develop presentation materials for staff meetings and outside presentations, independently research and analyze associated issues, and compile materials needed for presentation and decision-making purposes.
  • Build and maximize trusting relationships with the leadership team, seeking to understand and align leadership priorities.
  • Balance strategy and execution, thinking strategically while also being hands-on to get things done.
  • Lead special projects and handle ad hoc incoming requests.
  • Set and execute deadlines to meet overall goals.
  • Prioritize conflicting tasks expeditiously and proactively, following through on completing projects.
  • Assume and/or delegate responsibilities for high-level projects among departments.
  • Establish key performance indicators and measure team performance.
  • Support the Sr Director by tracking and assuming responsibility for completing projects, initiatives, and action items.
  • Act as the facilitator to streamline efficiency and communication between departments.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience working at a consulting firm.
  • Experience in engineering or operations of a systems business.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Highly experienced with Excel and Google Sheets for reporting and analytics.
  • Superb storytelling and PowerPoint design skills, capable of crafting clear, compelling visuals.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficient time-management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance and workflow optimization.
