About the position

The Chief of Staff role at Cloud Operation + Innovation (CO+I) is a pivotal position responsible for leading the executive office for the Corporate Vice President (CVP). This role encompasses overseeing the rhythm of business, operational excellence, global programs, and enhancing employee engagement and communication. The Chief of Staff will work closely with a diverse network of stakeholders globally, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring effective execution in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic advisor to the CVP and oversee execution on the rhythm of business (ROB), while also driving business strategy.
  • Execute business plans to ensure continuous operation in both normal and adverse conditions.
  • Direct organization-level projects/programs while engaging with leaders across the company to meet changing business needs and manage complex transformations.
  • Collaborate with the broader business management community to set standards and drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead executive-level communication with various internal audiences and drive internal and external communication for All-Hands meetings and other major milestones.
  • Direct external communication for customer/partner engagement and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Focus on improving employee engagement and drive impactful internal and external messaging.
  • Facilitate executive engagement with customers, business partners, and suppliers, ensuring appropriate leader involvement in key meetings and events.
  • Drive team culture by assessing organizational health and leading cultural initiatives.
  • Capitalize on team strengths and identify development areas, strategizing and executing training in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Oversee progress on role-based compliance training and ensure a healthy compliance scorecard for the organization.
  • Leverage knowledge of organizational strategy to lead budget design and resource planning.
  • Partner with finance and procurement to provide visibility and detail within the organization to drive budget accountability.
  • Drive employee growth and development, manage team performance, and execute projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or a business-related role.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Ability to meet customer and/or government security screening requirements.
