About the position

The Chief of Staff at Asher Black & Company will serve as a vital support to the CEO, managing a wide range of administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the business. This role requires a proactive individual who can anticipate the needs of the CEO, manage complex schedules, and handle various personal and professional tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to facilitate the CEO's vision and strategy for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the owner in any and all tasks that need to be handled, including personal errands.
  • Provides fiduciary service to sellers from the time their home goes on the market until closing.
  • Runs regular reports to track business and CEO's progress towards goals.
  • Manages meeting logistics including preparing agendas and taking notes.
  • Communicates on the CEO's behalf both internally and externally.
  • Handles email management for the CEO.
  • Runs errands and attends in-person and video meetings multiple times per week.
  • Processes mail and distributes it to various departments.
  • Manages complex calendar scheduling for the CEO and Executive Team.
  • Handles varying personal and professional administrative tasks such as booking appointments and coordinating travel.
  • Manages social media presence and online reputation for the CEO.
  • Coordinates finances of several business entities and assists with budget preparation.
  • Assists with long-term strategic planning for business opportunities.
  • Communicates regularly with buyers and sellers, providing progress reports and feedback.
  • Prepares CMA's, Seller Net Sheets, and Buyer Net Sheets, and updates contact databases.
  • Coordinates staging, repairs, and home improvements for properties.
  • Schedules showings and handles buyer-related tasks including inspections and closings.
  • Develops and implements systems for contact database management and back-office support.
  • Assists in hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Manages office operations including organizing supplies and handling correspondence.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in supporting an executive at a high level.
  • Outstanding organization and strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office.
  • Tech-savvy and able to navigate new systems quickly.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and discretion.
  • Customer service focus and ability to handle strong personalities.
  • Valid driver's license and working vehicle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in social media management.
  • Possession of a valid Real Estate License.
