About the position

The Chief of Staff at Blueair North America will play a crucial role in shaping the future of people operations within a rapidly growing organization. This position involves strategic HR leadership, innovative global communications, legal and compliance partnership, and a data-driven, people-first approach. The Chief of Staff will report directly to the CEO and will be instrumental in scaling the team, fostering a thriving culture, and driving organizational success in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement agile, scalable HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Forecast, track, and manage the people budget to ensure alignment with P&L.
  • Lead global efforts in talent acquisition, employee development, performance optimization, and succession planning.
  • Champion a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture that values innovation and collaboration.
  • Drive initiatives that elevate employee engagement and strengthen company culture.
  • Create and execute a transparent internal communication strategy that supports growth and change.
  • Partner with the executive team to provide real-time advice on communication strategies.
  • Manage crisis communication and protect brand reputation in high-pressure situations.
  • Act as the go-to for HR-related legal matters and ensure compliance with global labor laws.
  • Lead resolution efforts on employee relations issues with empathy and legal insight.
  • Leverage HR data and analytics to drive informed decisions that support growth goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to enhance talent management and employee experience.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing global HR team and foster collaboration and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience in a fast-paced, global company or startup.
  • Experience in scaling startups and navigating high-growth environments.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing innovative HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong expertise in internal communications and crafting clear messages in a high-speed environment.
  • Hands-on, data-driven mindset with the ability to experiment and iterate based on results.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to influence and inspire at all levels.
