About the position

The Chief of Staff at Glean will support the CEO in critical decision-making processes, manage communications, and act as a liaison between the CEO and the executive team. This role is designed for a strategic thinker with strong organizational and communication skills, who will handle confidential information with discretion. The position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in high-level strategic planning and operational efficiency initiatives within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the CEO in making major decisions by providing research, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and help translate high-level strategies into actionable plans.
  • Manage the CEO's email, including prioritizing messages, drafting responses, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Filter and direct communications to appropriate departments or individuals within the organization.
  • Help manage and optimize the CEO's calendar to ensure effective time utilization and prioritization.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and the executive team, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate executive meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Coordinate all-hands and company Q&A sessions, serving as an extension of the CEO.
  • Oversee and manage special projects as assigned by the CEO, ensuring timely completion within scope.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Support the CEO in managing daily operations and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment like Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Investing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency with office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
