About the position

The Chief of Staff at Glean will support the CEO in critical decision-making processes, manage their communications, and facilitate collaboration among the executive team. This strategic role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in translating high-level strategies into actionable plans and ensuring operational efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the CEO in making major decisions by providing research, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and help translate high-level strategies into actionable plans.
  • Manage the CEO's email, including prioritizing messages, drafting responses, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Filter and direct communications to appropriate departments or individuals within the organization.
  • Help manage and optimize the CEO's calendar to ensure effective time utilization and prioritization.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and the executive team, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate executive meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Coordinate all-hands and company Q&A sessions, serving as the extension of the CEO.
  • Oversee and manage special projects as assigned by the CEO, ensuring timely completion within scope.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Support the CEO in managing daily operations and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment like Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Investing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency with office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
