About the position

The Chief of Staff at Lumen plays a crucial role in supporting the SVP of Product Segments by ensuring the execution of defined priorities. This position involves problem-solving, communication, and facilitation within the Product Segments organization. The Chief of Staff will collaborate with key partners to manage objectives that drive product excellence and stay informed on industry trends to enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and synthesize data from various sources including customer feedback, financial reports, and market research.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and support.
  • Build and maintain slide decks, reports, and dashboards for senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Partner with HR on workforce planning and organizational structure management.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the SVP's direct reports and other staff members.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare the SVP for external and internal meetings, managing necessary prep calls and materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate organizational performance and contribute to new process development.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for non-routine communication and budgetary requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, operations management, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or Chief of Staff role, preferably in Technology or Telecommunications.
  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability to handle ambiguity.
  • Proven track record in translating executive priorities into actionable plans.
  • Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for products, technology, and innovation with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder management situations.
  • Attention to detail across various contexts.
  • Experience with Business Operations and Planning, Business Transformation, or Management Consulting is a plus.
