About the position

The Chief of Staff to the CEO at Movate plays a crucial role in supporting the CEO and the executive team, ensuring the smooth operation of the organization. This position involves strategic guidance, managing initiatives, and fostering collaboration across various departments. The Chief of Staff acts as a trusted advisor, representing the CEO's priorities and facilitating communication between the CEO and stakeholders, while also executing important projects and maintaining strong relationships within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support CEO in managing overall operations and executing strategies to achieve goals.
  • Plan and organize leadership meetings, including sales reviews and performance reviews.
  • Ensure meetings are relevant, well-structured, and that preparations are complete.
  • Participate in ExCom meetings and activities, providing support without being an executive member.
  • Prepare materials for monthly and quarterly Board meetings, ensuring the CEO is well-informed.
  • Follow through on action items from board meetings to ensure closure.
  • Create written materials and presentations on behalf of the CEO.
  • Act as a communication liaison for the CEO with team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide decision-making support through analysis and recommendations.
  • Serve as a sounding board for the CEO on new ideas and initiatives.
  • Work on special projects that are urgent and cross-functional.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in business management or an executive role.
  • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead and motivate teams effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, maintaining relationships across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving desired outcomes with cross-discipline leadership.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities.
  • Master's degree in business administration or a related discipline is preferred.
