About the position

Aduro Advisors is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the Partner and Chief Operating Officer in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing client engagement within the venture capital and private equity sectors. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive client engagement strategy, managing communications, and coordinating events to foster relationships with clients and industry partners. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, people-first culture and will be responsible for driving initiatives that align with Aduro's brand and service offerings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and execute a client engagement strategy with a 12-18 month roadmap.
• Manage Aduro's social media presence and create engaging content.
• Collaborate with communications consultants to ensure cohesive external communication strategies.
• Plan and develop content for client communications, including newsletters and webinars.
• Coordinate in-person events to enhance connectivity between Aduro and its clients.
• Manage the client engagement budget, including events and gifts.
• Act as a liaison to the Board of Directors, scheduling meetings and managing project contributions.
• Develop a Client Advisory Committee to gather insights from core clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven success in planning and executing strategic initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in data analysis and budget management.
• Strong event planning and execution experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the venture capital or private equity industry.
• Leadership experience in a client services role.
