About the position

Samba TV is on a mission to fundamentally transform the viewing experience for everyone by tracking streaming and broadcast video across the world with our proprietary data and technology. We are seeking a Chief of Staff (COS) who can autonomously execute and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This pivotal role will help shape and implement our business strategy, reporting directly to our CEO, Ashwin Navin. The COS will support key initiatives and ensure effective communication within the executive team and throughout the company. As a consultant, operator, and trusted advisor, the COS will synthesize and streamline essential information for the executive team and beyond. In this role, you will develop and disseminate insights and KPIs by interpreting data generated from our products and teams to unlock opportunities for growth. You will assist in setting monthly and quarterly priorities for the executive team, facilitating resource alignment to meet objectives. The COS will execute the CEO's special initiatives with cross-team coordination, working with various teams to manage executive involvement in key initiatives, planning sessions, and business reviews. Additionally, you will provide strategic advising to the leadership team, ensuring operational excellence across all business functions. Communication planning will also be a key responsibility, as you will help plan and execute communication strategies for customer and partner engagements, as well as internal initiatives. You will identify issues that impede success and provide recommendations for solutions, fostering cross-group collaboration and synergies. Finally, you will assist in preparing documents and coordinating with key executives for Board meetings, ensuring that all necessary information is ready for discussion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and disseminate insights and KPIs by interpreting data generated from products and teams to unlock opportunities for growth.
• Assist in setting monthly and quarterly priorities for the executive team, facilitating resource alignment to meet objectives.
• Work with various teams to execute high priority projects and manage executive involvement in key initiatives, planning sessions, and business reviews.
• Provide support and insights to the leadership team, ensuring operational excellence across all business functions.
• Help plan and execute communication strategies for customer and partner engagements, and internal initiatives.
• Identify issues that impede success and provide recommendations for solutions, fostering cross-group collaboration and synergies.
• Help prepare documents and coordinate with key executives for Board meetings.

Requirements

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed recommendations and drive process optimization.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Datorama, Google Data Studio, or similar platforms).
• Understanding of recent AI models and their applications for insights, content, and data analysis.
• Experience in presentation, meeting planning, and communication across various audiences.
• Solution-driven with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, strategy, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in consulting, project management, or a similar field.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL/R, scripting languages, data visualization, and analysis in Excel.
• Ability to present information in clear, beautiful, and polished PowerPoint.
• Concise, persuasive, and authentic in both verbal and written communication.
• Strong judgment, confidentiality, and sophistication in all aspects of work.
• Committed to in-office presence (4-5 days/week).

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in investment banking or consulting.
• Previous experience with product management, with strong emphasis on project management, prioritization, and cross-team collaboration.
