About the position

Berkowitz Pollack Brant, a leading certified public accounting firm established in 1980, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Staff (CoS) to join our executive team. This position is critical to the smooth operation of the organization and involves working closely with the CEO and other top executives. The CoS will serve as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and gatekeeper, playing a vital role in driving the company's success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior executive role, preferably as a Chief of Staff or in a similar capacity, and will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the organization’s operations and strategic initiatives. In this role, the Chief of Staff will assist in the development and implementation of business strategies, ensuring alignment between the executive's goals and the company's objectives. The CoS will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and identify and resolve operational issues to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, the CoS will act as a communication bridge between the CEO and other executives, employees, and stakeholders, preparing reports and presentations for internal and external communication. This position also involves providing data-driven insights to support executive decision-making and conducting research on various business matters to monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for administrative oversight, managing the executive's schedule, organizing meetings, and handling confidential information with discretion. Furthermore, the CoS will mentor and support the development of other staff members, helping to build and maintain a strong organizational culture. This role requires a high level of discretion, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior executive role, preferably as a Chief of Staff or similar position.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
