About the position

The Chief of Staff at Echo Canyon Public Affairs will work closely with the President to oversee the organization's day-to-day operations, drive strategic growth, and ensure alignment with the company's mission and objectives. This role involves fostering operational excellence and supporting the team in achieving measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key leader within the organization, supporting the President in achieving company goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior directors and team members, fostering collaboration and alignment with the company's values.
  • Manage daily operations, including finance, human resources, and sales, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Enhance internal processes and manage project systems to streamline workflows; familiarity with tools like Salesforce, ClickUp, or Trello is preferred.
  • Collaborate with the President to implement strategies, procedures, and business plans that drive growth and operational success.
  • Ensure operational plans are executed effectively with input and alignment from key team members.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide updates on operational performance to the President and key stakeholders.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization in discussions with bipartisan leaders and in public policy initiatives as needed.
  • Apply knowledge of state political processes and public policy to support operational and strategic goals.
  • Contribute to the organization's business development efforts and client-facing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic communication, political outreach, government relations, and management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
  • Prior experience in roles such as Second-in-Command, Chief of Staff, or Integrator.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).
  • 5+ years of experience in Public Affairs.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp.
