About the position

The Chief of Staff at Earnest serves as a critical advisor to the CEO, providing strategic guidance and insights to inform key business decisions. This role involves driving high-impact initiatives that align with the company's strategic priorities, ensuring effective collaboration across the organization, and crafting data-driven materials for senior stakeholders. The Chief of Staff will play a central role in executive discussions, facilitating alignment and follow-through on strategic objectives, ultimately allowing the CEO to focus on high-level priorities and drive the company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a critical advisor to the CEO, offering strategic guidance and insights for decision-making.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives that align with the company's strategic priorities.
• Craft compelling, data-driven materials for senior stakeholders and refine the CEO's work.
• Ensure the CEO and Executive Team receive the right information in an appropriate format.
• Facilitate productive dialogue in strategic conversations and ensure alignment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or Venture Capital/Private Equity.
• Experience in a high-growth technology company.
• Proven history of leadership roles and delivering results.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and experience leveraging data for strategic decisions.
• Superior communication skills for conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• High level of senior presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• ~5 years post MBA from a Top Tier Program.
• Experience in lending and/or Fintech.
