About the position

The Chief of Staff role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction of the company, ensuring competitiveness and adaptability in a dynamic business environment. This position involves overseeing data synthesis, conducting in-depth analyses, and testing hypotheses to inform strategic decisions. The Chief of Staff collaborates with large, cross-functional teams to align strategies with organizational goals and facilitate project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies research, tools, and analysis required for large, complex business strategy projects.
  • Structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies and tactics.
  • Develops recommendations for optimizing business and financial performance.
  • Manages large, cross-functional teams and communications to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery to clients.
  • Leads the development of project guidelines, contingency plans, objectives, and deliverables to drive successful outcomes.
  • Consults with business executives on strategy formulation, risk management, and growth opportunities.
  • Provides thought leadership and contributes to expanding the knowledge base within the area of expertise.
  • Collaborates across businesses, functions, and regions to align strategy with corporate and divisional approaches.
  • Leverages strategic and management consulting frameworks for evaluating and managing diverse business units.
  • Facilitates regular follow-ups on strategic planning to foster collaboration and ensure accountability.
  • Supports the development and coordination of executive-level presentation materials.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience in strategic management, strategic planning, consulting, or market research.
  • Experience working in a global role is preferred.
